There are plenty of ways to travel to the fair sustainably
Take advantage of Brisbane City Council’s public transport and take the bus or train to the fair.
Visit www.translink.com.auor call 13 12 30 for all bus and train timetable and fare information.
Everyone loves a good road trip and the more people involved the better.
Find some friends to share the journey with so we have fewer emissions and vehicles parked on site.
There is limited free parking available on the fair site off Reinhold Crescent for patrons who travel by car. Please follow directions from the traffic controllers.
Street parking is also available on the surrounding streets. Please follow Brisbane City Council residential parking rules to ensure effective traffic flow and local access.
Drivers may experience slight congestion during event times, we appreciate your patience during this time.
Riding your bike
Green Heart Fair is well located for getting there by bike. From the east (Nudgee, Banyo, Virginia, Northgate) ride along Downfall Creek Bikeway towards Chermside. You can use the same bikeway to get to Green Heart Fair from the west (Everton Park, McDowall, Stafford Heights, Chermside West).
From Aspley and the north, use the North Brisbane Bikeway and take advantage of the recent off-road connection through Marchant Park. You can also use the North Brisbane Bikeway to come to the fair from the south (Kedron, Wooloowin, Lutwyche, Wavell Heights, Toombul).
Find out more about how to get to the Fair by bike using Cycling Brisbane’s Bikeway Map.
If you want to combine your bike ride with using the train, the closest station is Virginia, which is right on the Downfall Creek Bikeway and less than 3km from the fair location. Visit the Translink website for more information and train running times.
