There are plenty of ways to travel to the Fair sustainably

Public transport

Take advantage of Brisbane City Council’s public transport and take the bus or train to the Fair.

Visit www.translink.com.au or call 13 12 30 for all bus and train timetable and fare information.

Cycling

Is your bike gathering dust in the shed? Wipe it off and cycle to the Fair.

It’s easy to ride to the Green Heart Fair along the picturesque Bulimba Creek Bikeway. The bikeway connects the Green Heart Fair with Carindale, Mansfield and Wishart to the south, and Tingalpa and Murrarie to the north. Murrarie Train Station (Cleveland to Shorncliffe line) is on the bikeway, which is perfect for bike riders because you can take your bike on the train on Sundays. Find out more here.

Plan your ride to the Green Heart Fair with the Cycling Brisbane’s route planner.

Car pool

Everyone loves a good road trip and the more people involved the better.

Find some friends to share the journey with so we have fewer emissions and vehicles parked on site.

Parking

There is limited free parking available on the Fair site for patrons who travel by car. Please follow directions from the traffic controllers.

Street parking is also available on the surrounding streets. Please follow Brisbane City Council residential parking rules to ensure effective traffic flow and local access.

Drivers may experience slight congestion during event times, we appreciate your patience during this time.
