Cycle to the fair
Riding a bike along the picturesque Bulimba Creek Bikeway is a very green way to get to the Green Heart Fair! The bikeway connects the Fair with Carindale, Mansfield and Wishart to the south, and Tingalpa and Murrarie to the north. You can view a map of the Bulimba Creek Bikeway in the free Riding in Brisbane guide published by Cycling Brisbane.
Want to try riding there with others? Cycling Brisbane will lead a guided ride from Murrarie Recreation Reserve to the Fair leaving at 8:00am. It will be a flat and easy-paced ride suitable for most ages. Free, but booking essential – reserve your places now!
You can catch a train with your bike on Sundays. Murrarie Train Station (Cleveland to Shorncliffe line) is very close to our guided ride meeting point at Murrarie Recreation Reserve. Get timetable information from Journey Planner.
Everyone loves a good road trip and the more people involved the better.
Find some friends to share the journey with so we have fewer emissions and vehicles parked on site.
