The September Green Heart Fair is cancelled.
CitySmart, on behalf on Brisbane City Council, wishes to advise that the Green Heart Fair, scheduled to be held on Sunday 13th September at Carindale Recreation Reserve has been cancelled following the ongoing Federal Government’s directive on limiting non-essential mass gatherings to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The personal health and safety of Brisbane residents and visitors continues to be our top priority.
Council is working closely with Queensland Health and the Australian Government and will continue to be guided by these agencies on all matters of public health.
We are working on some exciting new projects and look forward to sharing any opportunities with you and how you can get involved.
In the meantime, you can still take part in the virtual Green Heart Fair here.
Brisbane City Council’s Green Heart Fair is Brisbane’s biggest sustainable living festival, promoting innovative green living for all residents to enjoy.
Each fair welcomes leading sustainability organisations, community groups, artisans, foodies, green-thumbs, conservationists, businesses and eco experts to share information and knowledge with Brisbane residents on how to live more sustainably.
While we can’t run the scheduled Fair’s this year due to the limit on non-essential mass gatherings due to COVID-19, we’re excited to celebrate all the offerings you know and enjoy in the virtual market.
Thanks for your continued support.
